When I was in high school at the end of the school year, we would write in each other’s yearbook. Sometimes I was embarrassed by the writing, other times I might find a sweet memory. One classmate wrote a poem that I never understood until more recently. I always remembered the poem and today it seems to fit how I feel about writing a SOL today:
Can’t think
Brain dumb
Inspiration won’t come
Ink poor pen
I forgotten the last line but this is how my brain feels currently.
I am with you! I’ve definitely hit my middle of the month slump. But I do like this little poem & I honestly like “ink poor pen” as a line – it’s kind of clever!

Yup – sometimes our writing ink goes dry. Other days will be better.
Now you have me thinking about what I used to write in yearbooks!

Yes, about every day for me. But you always seem to find something interesting to write!

It’s amazing…how we ‘do’ find things to write about.

I love this! “Can’t think, brain dumb” are some of the most honest words I’ve felt! Some days (those long days after nothing going right) I leave my slice for the end of the day because I just can’t think of anything!

I do write late too. I like to read several Hoping to get an idea from someone.
